I'll start the first blog post of the year with a friend of mine, Vincent Van Dyke.
Vincent runs a Special Makeup Effects Studio. He has done work for the TV/Movie industry for years.
His work has been featured in numerous shows and movies such as "Modern Family", "Nip-Tuck", "Dexter",
"Star Trek" and "Grey's Anatomy" for which he's had 3 Primetime Emmy Award Nominations.

This is a shoot I did with Alicia, who you might recognize from previous shoots.
I wanted to do a fall themed shoot so she brought some nice autumn colors to wear
and we went out to find some good locations. My buddy Josh Telles, who is a great photographer,
came along to help and snap some of his own shots. It was a great shoot and I can't wait to work with both of them soon.
I shot these photos a while back scouting out a place to shoot. It's an abandoned hospital in East Los Angeles.
I am by no means afraid of anything, and this place is still creeeepy. The basement and several floors are cold and completely silent.
I will definitely try to shoot more and/or something else at this place. I love it!
Here's a bridal shoot I did at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia, CA .
I shot Nico and Alicia as the bride and groom.
This was also a mock bridal shoot set-up for an assignment.
I had the pleasure of shooting Janina recently. She's an aspiring model and actress.
She is studying Theatre and hopes to have a career on stage.
She wanted a casual shoot so she packed some of her outfits and we headed to Malibu.
We ended up with some good shots depsite the direct sun. Enjoy!
Jared Majers, known by his stage name "Mad Hope", is a local L.A. rapper.
Made Hope has dedicated countless days and long nights to his passion, music and rapping.
He wanted to do some new promo shots so we hit up some local spots and got some great photos.

Meet Katie and Ron. These two are actually friends and models who aren't engaged.
We decided to add some work to our portfolios so we shot a mock engagment session.
Katie and Ron were great models and were good sports walking around in the hot sun.

Nelson & Maira are some L.A. natives who have been together for several years now,
and it doesnt look to be slowing down.
We wanted some cool, fashionable shots for their session so we headed to the UCLA campus in Westwood.
UCLA has amazing architecture and plenty of great spots to shoot with lots of brick decor.
